When I approached Sandy to reset my engagement ring I had an idea of what I wanted. Sandy developed my ideas and came up with an amazing design for my new ring. Sandy designed and made a ring for me. I had a 31carat loose morganite stone which I wanted set. I had a very traditional view of the stone and wanted it set surrounded by diamonds. Sandy took one look and described the stone set in a mount with no diamonds. He let me see the wax model I was hooked. The stone is stunning the way he has set it in 18 carat rose gold. It is beautiful and I love it.

Sandy designed my wedding band, and reset my engagement ring, prior to my wedding in 2012. He took his time going through the various options that I could consider. I had a good idea what I wanted but he took my ideas and told me what would, and importantly what would not, work.

As we currently live abroad, it was a great relief that I felt completely confident in him, so much so that I only picked up my rings a week before the wedding on my return to Aberdeen! My confidence was not misplaced, they are absolutely beautiful and I wouldn’t change a thing about them. He also managed to turnaround my husband’s wedding band in lightning quick time, no small feat given the limited time we had before the wedding.

From start to finish Sandy was professional, good fun and made the experience even more special. Thanks again Sandy we can’t thank, or recommend, you enough! I am looking forward to my next piece of jewellery!

Jewellery design exactly as per the brief, perfect. The process with Sandy was both straightforward and stress free. Initially I approached Sandy to rejuvenate a beautiful emerald that was set in a ring that did no justice to the stone and was impractical for everyday use.

Sandy arrived for a consultation, listened to the brief and sketched up some designs. He then constructed a wax model of the favoured design complete with the temporary mounted stones. Following a trial fit and with my absolute approval, the ring was created. I was delighted with the results, a unique ring which always seems to draw admiration.

I was so pleased with the ring my husband commissioned Sandy to design a matching necklace for my birthday. I could not be happier with the set, a professional service providing beautifully crafted bespoke jewellery.

Working with Sandy to design my engagement ring has been a fantastic experience. From our first meeting, with him, we felt that he really understood what we were looking for. He somehow seemed to take our list of adjectives and turn them into a beautiful ring. Sandy is so patient explaining the process to you and letting you take time to choose the right diamond for you, and one which complements the design. He will go out of his way to make sure the ring fits perfectly and that when you walk out with it on your finger you are completely satisfied.

We couldn’t recommend the process of designing your own engagement ring, with Sandy, more highly. It has been an absolute pleasure working with him and having the opportunity, as a couple, to design a ring I will wear for the rest of my life has been an amazing experience.

Sandy re-designed an old antique ring and created a new contemporary ring that I now love and wear every day. I had an idea what I wanted, which Sandy helped me develop and interpreted perfectly.

I received a diamond antique ring for my birthday nearly 22 years ago, it was too small and a bit of an old fashioned setting, but I was quite attached to it for sentimental reasons and it had beautiful quality diamonds.

Love it!
